ADMINISTRATION and FINANCE
Position: Administrative Assistant


You will provide moderately complex clerical and administrative support to the department manager and staff. A High School diploma or equivalent is required with completion of some college or secretarial training program preferred. This position requires a minimum of 2+ years of prior clerical/ administrative support or related experience.


ENGINEERING
Position: Sr. Manufacturing Engineer


In this demanding position, you will be responsible for project implementation of electro-mechanical fixture design. Our ideal candidate will have a BS or graduate degree in engineering coupled with 7+ years of experience (at least 4 in the medical device industry). Must have a proven track record of successful project implementation utilizing AutoCAD 13 or higher. Familiarity with ISO 9001, EN 46001, FDA/GMP needed.



Position: Quality Engineer


We’re seeking two technically astute individuals with a BS or MS in engineering and 3+ years’ experience in the medical device industry to support GSI’s compliance objective with FDA, GMP, ISO 9000 and MMD. You will evaluate manufacturing processes for accuracy and reliability, as well as be a technical resource for statistical test methods, design of experiments and root cause determination/corrective action implementation. A strong statistical aptitude is of key importance. ASQC certification a plus.

SALES AND MARKETING
Position: Territory Manager
Regions: Colorado (1); Chicago (1); Ohio (1); Seattle (1); New York (1)


Promotes, sells and provides training in the use of GSI products to appropriate hospital in his/her territory. Plans and coordinates activities for coverage and expansion of usage in accounts in the territory. Supports and promotes marketing projects. Provides technical and consultative support to surgeons, support staff and distributors for the use of GSI products. Evaluates, analyzes and communicates trends in surgery and the medical device industry. Assists in the education and evaluation of personnel through field training.

Qualifications:

Education:

BS/BA degree or equivalent experience.

Experience:
Thorough working knowledge of medical device/healthcare industry. At least four years of proven track record in sales. Previous sales training.

Skills Aptitude:
Exceptional selling, communication and interpersonal skills. Is self-starting, motivated, organized, ethical and has the ability to lead by example.

OPERATIONS
Position: Senior Buyer


Your endeavors will include negotiating with suppliers, purchasing materials to support production, purchasing non-inventory goods and services and developing and maintaining suppliers relationships to meet company goals. Requires a BA in Business or related discipline and 5+ years of experience in the medical device industry.

Position: Warehouse Supervisor


This high profile position will supervise the operations and staff involved in receiving, storing and distribution of materials. An AA Degree or equivalent is required, BA preferred. Minimum 5 years of related experience in material handling. Prior experience in computer tracking of materials and the use of spreadsheets is necessary.

Position: Mfg. Technician II


You will be responsible for equipment and fixture fabrication, performing installation and operational qualifications, and assisting engineers with process qualification and validation. High School Diploma or GED equivalent is required (AS desirable). Requires 3+ years of experience with at least three years as a technician and one year in the medical device industry. Experience with machine shop equipment (lathe and end mill) and practices would be very beneficial.

Position: Lead Assembler


Your challenges will include assisting the Production Supervisor in maintaining production line quality and efficiency. You should have complete knowledge of GMP and ISO 9001. A High School diploma or equivalent is preferred along with 3+ years’ medical device assembly experience and a minimum of 1 year supervisory or lead experience.

QUALITY ASSURANCE
Position: Quality Assurance Technician


Utilizing your 2+ years of experience in an inspection and manufacturing environment, you will test product or prototype devices following approved protocols. You will use inspection and analytical tools (i.e. calipers, Instron, pressure tears, micrometer, pin gauges) to inspect material for conformance to specification. ASQ Mechanical Inspector certification a plus.
